Harley-Davidson motorcycles bring heart-thumping adventure, life-changing freedom and a bit of rebellion into the lives of people around the world. But whether you were born to be wild – or mild – makes no difference at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Much more than a nostalgia trip for motorcycle enthusiasts, the Museum offers a glimpse of American history and culture like you’ve never seen it before – through the successes and trials of an iconic American company. Interactive, eye-catching exhibits present an unparalleled collection of legendary stories of our nation’s last century. Located on 20 acres in downtown Milwaukee, the Museum offers free parking, Motor Bary & Restaurant, Cafe Racer, The Shop, park-like outdoor spaces, special event rentals, guided tours for group of 15 or more, and Steel Toe Tours of the Powertrain Operations, home of the big-twin engine.Special exhibit in summer 2012: Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket June 16-September 3.

"We spent this Father's Day camping in the Southern Unit of Kettle Moraine, Eagle, WI. This was our 1st time ever camping in the Kettle Moraine area! We were lucky enough to get a tip from some friends about this area last summer. We reserved a site at Ottawa Lake Campground. Hint: Book 6months to a ..."Year in advance! We booked this in January 2013! Campgrounds in the Kettle are booked full thru the summer weekends! If you can get away during the week, then this campground is a must! Electric sites are hard to come by and these are my only choice. If you prefer tent camping in the heavy wooded area: pick a site at Pine Woods Campground, 4 miles away. Pinewoods camp is also a beautiful, non electric(not for Me)camp with a large extensive bathroom, and has a row of private showers. Pinewoods is considered perfect for families. No pets allowed and no radios, or reception, so quiet hours at all time! Stunning camp as well, just not for this Camper! Either Camp you pick, there are a few site...

"We recently took our school age camp on a tour at Palermo's and it was one of the best field trips we've gone on! It was our first time doing this tour and it will definitely be one that we do every year. Susannah was so kid friendly- the kids were never bored, they were interested in everything she..." said (it made me nervous that there was a 20 minute movie with Susannah narrating, but they loved every second!), but she made sure to include the adults on the trip as well. I have already talked to the office about doing a staff tour and lunch there and families have asked me about it as well. Thank you so much for this experience! We will be back!
