I wasn't a parent then, and wondered how some of the exhibits could possibly hold kids' attention. Now that I have a 2 year old, I see the appeal through his eyes! Some of our favorite ..."exhibits include the Dino maze and water table in the basement, the pool noodle puzzle on the first floor, and of course the rotating exhibits upstairs. We became members, which totally takes the pressure off... We sometimes just go for 45 minutes or so, and don't feel that we have to do or see everything on every visit. (They do offer income-based discounted memberships, too! But you have to ask in person -- the info is not on the website.)   "Cool park on the river!"
  "Sidewalks and statues and the river. What more can you ask? It's a beautiful park to spend an hour or two right near downtown."

  "Worth the short drive up to see the amazing view!"
  "There's a cool shelter here with a fireplace on either end that would be a great place for a party! The view is like flying low in a plane...straight down. No trails, so that's a bummer. Still enjoyed the short time we spent there."
