  "I went skiing here the on Saturday, February 9th with my daughter. It was my first time back to the resort since moving back to the Chicagoland area from Michigan. The resort is a decent place for beginner and intermediate to advanced-intermediate skiers, but not some place to go to if you are look..."ing for steep terrain or mogul fields. There appears to be two high-speed lifts along with several regular chairs so even though the lift lines were long; the chairs moved people up the hill fairly efficiently. The biggest problem and I’m going to seem like a real whiner, is that for some reason the lift line etiquette was horrible and the lift operators never really did anything to help it. I think this is largely due to the higher than average “beginners” that frequent the resort when I compare it to some of the similar sized resorts in Michigan (Pine Knob, Mt. Holly, Alpine).   "Well it's not quite the same as skiing a mountain. It is probably some of the best skiing near Chicago. Any excuse to enjoy a day of skiing always makes me happy and this place delivers. Nice drive through rural Wisconsin is also enjoyable."
