Whidbey Island Vineyards and Winery offer a quaint tasting room, and a delicious, delicate white wine known as Madeleine Angevine, whose grapes are grown on Whidbey Island itself.

Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens, a not-for-profit garden open to the public, encompasses ten acres of display and educational gardens enveloped by forty-three acres of woodland preserve with nature trails. Friends of Meerkerk memberships, plant sales, admission donations and contributions combine to care for the Gardens.

Lavender Wind Farm, with a view of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan De Fuca, is on the wild west side of beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington. We have perfect growing conditions for lavender, only about 18 inches of rain a year due to the Olympic Rain Shadow, lots of wind, and plenty of sun.
