Nestled in the lowlands of the Dungeness Valley, our 5 1/2 acre farm (named CreekSide Lavender Farm) boasts more than 2,500 lavender plants in 22 different varieties. With picturesque barn (and resident owl) and a creek running through the corner of the lavender field, our farm is a relaxing, peaceful place to spend a summer day. The CreekSide Corner Store sells handmade, boutique products made from bud and lavender essential oil that is harvested and distilled on-site at the farm. Open Wed-Sun in the summer (or by appointment), admission to our farm is always free. Our farm is open to the public during the summer months when the lavender is in bloom; please check our website or call ahead for up to date visiting hours. We'd love to have you stop by!

"Wonderful little gallery in downtown Sequim. Lots of affordable art by talented local artists with a passion for what they do. Shirley (the owner) also teaches watercolor classes which are very affordable and lots of fun."
"The spit at the National Wild Refuse gets all the attention as it should, being the longest natural spit in the US. It has been created over the years due to the erosion of the cliffs and the sediment shifting due to the wind and wave action. A hook has been formed which has created an inner bay and..." estuary where birds nest and tide pools are created. A visitor has the option to trek the 5.5 miles hike out to the light house and be rewarded with a wonderful view of the Strait Juana De Fuca and if weather cooperates Hurricane Cliff, However, the park also offers a wonderful opportunity to walk the beach (easy walk from parking area), go birding, or stay at the camping area. For $3 you can't find a better bargain. Note: weather conditions do change on the coast and layered clothing is advised. Also, think before you expect small children to make an extended hike.
