They granted our last minute request (ie, after 5pm) for a customized trip the next day. Their laid-back style and sense of humor made us feel like we'd been friends for years! Martin got us all set up with snorkel gear and off we went--it was a faster, choppier ride on the JvD powerboat compared to the previous day sail (of course), with fewer of the frills (ie, BYOB) but gorgeous views and excellent snorkeling nonetheless. We snorkeled at Guana Island (Monkey Point) on the way to the Baths and at Diamond Cay on the way back, but hands down the best part of the day was the Baths themselves.   "This was our second visit to Foxy's. This time he was there playing his guitar in his usual spot. He asked where we were from (Minnesota) and he tried to convince us that Coon Rapids MN was named in honor of the black man. :) I think it may have had to do with the abundance of racoons in the area...", but he was humourously convincing and entertaining nonetheless. We like to go here for lunch while our boat captain checks us in through customs. This year was poor in service though. We grabbed our own menus, and when no one served us, my husband just ordered food up at the bar. They make a great Lime in de Coconut. I like the dog that just hangs about the place under the tables. Colin and his family, along with the always cheerful and lively staff, refreshes my island spirit. As their website attests, this bunch live in the water and "thrive in the dive". My 12 yr old daughter's dive tales always include names like Martin("w/ that funny accent"), Patrick, her latest crush, thank you very much, and of course Colin.
