  "The Lion's Club is the way to go for tubing in San Marcos. It's a great way to pass the day as a family. We had a picnic and spent the day enjoying Mother Nature's beauty. The water is cold, and there are the occasional shrieks of foul language from college kids, but overall, it is pretty tame. ..."We bring our own tubes, and the bus service back to the start is pretty timely. We enjoyed the park at the end with the chutes more than anything else. We spent the greater part of the day just relaxing, picnicking, and going through the chutes over and over again. Of course, my teenage son brought a friend along. so they are old enough to handle the rough parts of the water. One negative thing about the Lion's Club: I can't believe they charge $4 for air.
