"Very pleased with our day out. Great for teenagers and younger children and two dogs. Great value for money with lots to do and would recommend it to anyone. We can't wait to go back."
"Good pitches in a really beautiful setting with loads of additional things to do, like the high-ropes/zip wire. The dogs love the woods, the kids love the playground, the adults did not like the food in the restaurant, though! Over-priced, over-cooked - shame as everything else about the campsite is..." fantastic. The bar looked like the staff 'pick up' area with various staff members at the bar petting with each other, and awful, loud music blaring out in an almost empty restaurant. We complained about the worst meal - really cheap scampi which was overcooked, and peas that I would have expected to be served at school! - and got our money back - in fairness they were very apologetic and offered us free puddings (we didn't bother!). At around £9 - £12 for a main course, you do expect the food to be of a reasonable standard, and properly cooked!
