  "My son and I have skiied and snowboarded here for a few years. I guess no one in the reviews bothers complaining about $$$ because all ski places are expensive. But, some more discount weekends for locals would be appreciated. We've had trouble with their over-priced, machine hot cocoa being watery ..."more than once. Last time, we complained. Cold skiers love hot cocoa, so maybe they could upgrade it a bit! In general, this is a good place. The lines for the lifts could be run with more organization, but that's my only fault on the slopes. Everything seems quite good for a nice, little mountain. Well, last time, they did have a cutover trail closed all day for no apparent reason which made cutting over impossible, but overwise, it's generally a good place. My son and I have hiked here in summer too, which is fun. For free, I won't even offer any criticism of the summer trails. " More >

  "We often go to Bear Creek for a little weekend adventure. Hiking/ trails are great way to spend a morning or afternoon. The restaurant has great food but its a little pricy. The accomdations are very nice and out does many of the chain hotels for a reasonable price."
