  "Not for the faint of heart, or wise of brain. This is a serious trek, with solid uphill walking/climbing over 4 - 5 hours. There's some high areas close to long drops, but plenty safe enough with rope to hold on to. It's fine for anyone of reasonable fitness and agility. Be prepared, if you fall beh..."ind, you will have to remain in place until the group returns, possibly for some hours. The whole trek takes 8 - 9 hours all up, and the track isn't always clear to see (you can only do it with a guide). The view and vegetation at the top makes it worth the effort. If you're there at the right time of year, the guide can call the petrels to fly to the ground, and you can pick them up and have a pat - they have no fear of people.
