Clitheroe Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Clitheroe
"Blue badge parking right outside the castle which was lucky because climbing the hill would have been "interesting". Very interesting history of Clitheroe.
Lovely tea rooms with exceedingly good cakes!"
"You are hard pushed to not find what you are looking for in this Market. I visit every Saturday as a local and look forward to it (even though I don't particularly like shopping). The veg and fruit is soooo fresh, it lasts all week which means I can buy everything I need on a Saturday for the week..." ahead. On a sunny day its like being in the south of France buying fresh produce, most of which is grown local too. I must draw your attention to the Haberdashery stall too, Sharon opens every week even in the snow, and what she has available is nobodys business, she has everything and really good prices - takes some beating.
If your in the area, its a must!!!

"Really enjoyed our visit to the Castle, in fact we stayed so long that we ate lunch in the cafe there, too, which was basic but well done and very good value. Castle staff are very friendly and the exhibits were well done and interesting - they would appeal to young people as well as us oldies. Vi..."ews of Clitheroe and the Pendle hills are rewarding and the climb up to the top of the keep is not at all strenuous. Enjoyed it.
