All Saints’ Tudeley is the only church in the world* to have all its twelve windows decorated by the great Russian artist Marc Chagall. The east window at Tudeley is a memorial tribute to Sarah d'Avigdor-Goldsmid who died aged just 21 in a sailing accident off Rye. Sarah was the daughter of Sir Henry and Lady d'Avigdor-Goldsmid; the family then lived at the fine Jacobean house Somerhill which is situated nearby.

"Fantastic venue for our wedding day, everybody involved treated us so well and couldn't do enough to make our day magical. I walk our dogs through the grounds everyday, such a beautiful place to see and visit."
"First you do have to pay to park.
There is a food van that is occasional open and toilets.
Great place to walk the dog, I really enjoy the scenery.
But be warned if it has been raining at all, remember the wellies.
It was a very muddy bog even on the main path around the lake once and having ..."many moments where i thought i was going to end up on my bottom, i went home.
I needed to change my clothes and the dog ended up at the groomers because she was state.
I will only walk again when its a lot dryer.

"Like Dutchboy 74, I'm not sure whether this really is the number 1 attraction in Tonbridge. But it is certainly a pleasant place to go for a walk at almost any time of year. Even in really wet conditions, the path around Barden Lake is firm and not too muddy. Venture off towards the Flood Barrier, h..."owever, and wellies will certainly be required!
Have taken elderly relatives for a walk around the lake in the past - a nice stroll in the countryside with the added bonus that the lakeside path has no steep hills to challenge them.
Some have commented upon the cost of parking, but at £0.70 for four hours it really doesn't cost the earth. But it does deter commuters who used to park for free, and walk to the railway station to take the train to London for the day.
