We must have retraced our steps 3-4 times to have another look at something. Everything was labelled clearly so it was easy to learn what was what. The giant amythest geode was stupendous!   "Wow!!! What a fantastic place to visit! As a mum of a (very active) 3yr old boy and step mum to a (tough to impress) 14yr old, it's always incredibly hard to find places to visit that both enjoy. This was a great experience. As another reviewer said, the kids were encouraged to touch everything ..."in the Caves allowing a complete sensory experience. The quality of the crystals and specimens are world class. My husband and I were quite taken back at the opportunity to view some amazing specimens. Certainly not what you would expect, hidden on the Atherton Tablelands. Cracking the geode was the icing on the cake for both the kids and us.
