Open all year round, Parc Omega is a wildlife adventure, making you discover wild animals living in their natural habitat. The park is located in Montebello, 1:30 hour from Montreal, 1 hour from Ottawa and Mont Tremblant. Parc Omega offers a closeness with wildlife and the ability to directly feed the animals.

"A few friends and I rented cars from Ottawa and drove our way to Parc Omega. This place is just amazing! It's a must! A bloody damn MUST!
Before you go on your drive, I HIGHLY recommend purchasing some carrots at the main office or just buy some fruits and vegetables beforehand.
You'll end up..." driving a bit through terrain surrounded with heaps of animals ranging from moose, horses, deers, pigs, warthogs, oxes, llamas and so much more. BEWARE: you MUST put your windows up! The animals have become accustomed to patrons giving them food so they WILL come to your car and even block the road until you throw a carrot their way! I had my window down and a deer ended up sticking its entire head into the window, gnawing at my crutch for the bag of carrots LOL!
ALSO if you plan on driving there, you are pretty much guaranteed to leave with a car covered in animal saliva! Just warning you, it's get crazy!!!
There come points where you will drive past enclosed animals like bears and w...

"We went with our little one (7.5 months old); and we LOVED it.
The animals are so accustomed to the cars, that they wander around, heading over to stick their heads in your window searching for food. Our baby was absolutely transfixed.
If you love your car, you're best not to take it though. The r..."oads were really rough, and the animals don't appreciate a fine paint job :)
You should definitely bring carrots (or buy them there) in order to feed the animals.
We showed up at the park pretty late, so we didn't have time to get out and walk around.
The only negative thing was that at the end of the day (just before closing) we ended up stuck in a traffic jam trying to get out. There is only one exit/road to get out, and all the cars merge into one lane... We ended up stuck for at least 30 minutes trying to get out.

"indeed safari is not just for Africa. I have been to a safari park in South Africa before, and no surprise the experience there was better that what I had in PARC OMEGA. Yet parc omega is great at its own and diffidently will go back later this summer. great for families with kids especially young k..."ids.
tip: buy your own carrots, they sell carrots at higher rates :)
the best thing here is feeding the animals.
