"Visited Duck in the spring. We decided to take an early morning walk on the boardwalk on one of the days we were there. It was perfect! The temperature was perfect and the sun was not on the boardwalk side yet so we were not blinded or burned. The boardwalk was empty at that time- we ran into two or..." three other people and that was it. The shops were closed so we did not get to venture into any of them but we did get to be one of the first people at Duck's Donuts - donuts made to order (so much for the calories we burned on the walk :-) ). The only downside is that there were quite a few mosquitoes but nothing some bug spray couldn't handle. Walking the whole boardwalk (both ways) plus grabbing breakfast took about an hour and a half so it is not a very long walk.

"We went to the Outer Banks on vacation and I booked a mother-to-be massage for our first morning there. I knew my back was tense but I didn't realize just how tense other muscles were as well. It was just what I needed to get me into relaxation mode for our vacation. The lady who did my massage was ..."very attentive and made sure I was comfortable at each point. In addition the spa also has an indoor pool, steam room, and relaxation areas which are open for patrons to use at no additional charge. There is also a room with refreshments for your enjoyment during your visit.
