"My son turned six-so my wife; my three year old daughter and son all drove down from CT to the Discover Center. We bought our tickets online and we chose a Monday to avoid the crowds (Highly recommended and get there at 10 am). Park in the North garage and simply walk to the LDC.
We bought the Ac..."tivity Pack/Book for $4 (x2). We weren't sure what they were but we went ahead with it. They are actually little booklets with puzzles and a lego lanyard. They have stamp stations throughout the center so after you get all 10 stamps, they give you a "cheap" plastic medallion at the Lego store. Not sure if it's really worth it but it's all about the memories.
When you walk to the main door, look to the left and you will see the silver open button. Not too much to see in the first room and onto the Save the royal egg thing ride. That was fun...mini ride with laser pistols shooting at the targets...perhaps 5 min ride.
