"This is a very long beach, situated away from the village of Morro de São Paulo and, thus, a very quiet place, plenty of coconut trees, only interrupted by the existing hotels in this area. When the tide is low, the sea becomes just natural salt water pools, great for snorkelling or just for relaxi..."ng or playing with kids. At low tide times, one can take a horse-drawn cart ride (local taxies), but at high tide times this transport is not available.
Sometimes the beach can be desert, but most hotels allow visitants to use their restaurants and beach services (I recomend the Patachocas Eco Resort services, very welcoming with day visitors).
