Erie Canal Museum

The Erie Canal Museum (ECM) is a private, nonprofit corporation founded in 1962. It is housed in the 1850 Weighlock Building. This attraction unlike anything else in the USA is free to go to and gives a good account on the building of this Canal which is quite a feat of engineering.
