I spent a relaxing morning and afternoon in beautiful weather in the company of about 25 other really nice people, enjoying the sights and sounds and tastes of north fork wine country. We were led by 3 tour guides who made us smile, laugh, and forget ..."about everything else and just focus on having a good time. The 4 wine tastings at Laurel Lake vineyard were satisfying and the picnic-style lunch (consisting of sandwiches, salads, and iced tea or bottled water) was very tasty. We were also treated to live music there. We visited 2 wineries, saw some unusual long horn cattle at one of the vineyards (Martha Clara) and visited a family farm with a farm stand for fruit and vegetables. The tour guides were able to carry anything we purchased in a couple of bike trailers!
