It is indeed one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, however not for swimming. What impressed me is that it is still beaming with wild life although it is quite visited. There are a couple of shacks serving smoothies, well blended into the surroundings. Well worth the visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed beautiful Anse Coco Beach despite some climbing but it was really worth getting there and make a well deserved splash into the crystal clear water of its natural pool. Along the trail you have always the opportunity to enjoy a coconut water juice. I would like to mention the "Petite Anse Bar" and its new nice owner who offered us small pieces of coconut rubbed with sugar and cinnamon - absolutely delicious!

Phenomenal beach to visit on La Digue. The bike ride there takes a bit of effort, as it involves a gentle climb but totally worth it. Worst case scenario, push the bike or even walk there. Met some lovely tourists walking there so totally doable. On the way you should call by Mini’s cafe and grab some refreshments or lunch even.

Beautiful beach with white sandy beaches once you get to Grand Anse. However, must note that there’s not a lot of shade.

The sea can also be a bit rough there so please swim cautiously.

You can also hike over to Anse Coco or Petite Anse from there and those are as phenomenal, if not even nicer. Please please please stick to the well maintained trail as it can be so easy to get lost otherwise. They have yellow markings alongside the trail for you to follow and it appears at fairly regular intervals. It’s a very easy trail but don’t forget to bring water at least with you to rehydrate as Seychelles is quite warm/hot even.

Beautiful location, we walked left off the trail and it was empty, some shade both man made and natural. Plenty of space and the sea scape is so picturesque.

I visited Seychelles 3 times (Mahe, La Digue, Praslin, Cuirieuse and St Pierre)... everything is magical but by far the best thing was the La Digue guided tour to Anse Marron (3 hours hike from Grand Anse to Source D’Argent) with professional and very kind guide Henry... walking through the forest and mangroves, crawling through narrow rocks, climbing the Seychelles rocks... 1.5-2 hours lunch break at Anse Marron with natural pool full of colorful fish... it was spectacular!
Finishing the tour at Robinson Cruso beach in National park
This tour is not good for small kids and people who are not fit.
Don’t miss the chance to experience this exciting adventure with #ladigueparadisetours

I can’t even begin to say how beautiful this beach and the waters are. The snorkeling is killer here. We saw so much just off the shore. The water is crystal clear. Lots of choices for places to get a juice or drink and this is the place to watch the sun set.

15 minutes away from Six Senses Zil Pasyon via kayak, amazing small island for taking photos, secluded beach and snorkeling.

La Digue has so many beautiful beaches but this small beach in the north of La Digue will blow you away, Took some beautiful pictures in the evening sun. 🥰 Crystal clear water, white sand and granite rocks. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited Felicite as part of an island hop snorkeling trip from La Digue.
I appreciated a wide area to explore while snorkeling. As others noted, Seychelles has lost a significant percentage of their coral, but on Felicite you can see the efforts to restore some of it and indeed there was a decent variety of coral types off Felicite. Also, a good variety of fish can be found here. Sea Turtles were seen by others on my trip, though not me.

I am not a super strong swimmer, nor have I much experience with snorkeling - at times the coral was close to the surface and I found myself panicking as the current was strong and very much pushed/pulled me more than I was comfortable with. I stayed more toward the deeper waters or pathways between coral and felt better.

In comparison -Big Sister had the wider variety of fish, while Felicite had more coral. Little Sister was my least favorite snorkeling area - but honestly, everything in Seychelles is worth seeing.

This beach was beautiful and the bar there was so cool. Had the the best drinks in town. Owner has to carry all his food and drinks through quite a hike. It was definitely an adventure getting there but so worth it. Easier if you come from Coco anse. But follow the arrows if you don’t. The whole bar was built from a tree that fell down there. And it’s next to an old store house from the early 1900’s. Definitely make it a stop

A cute little reserve created to save the habitat for an endemic Black Paradise Flycatcher bird. At the entrance, you will receive boards with color images of the animal species that can be spotted in the reserve and a short explanation of their occurrence. You can also hire a guide here.

The paths in the reserve are wet and corresponding to the fact that you entered the remnant of the original tropical rainforest. There is a gazebo in the middle of the reserve, very welcome if you get caught in tropical rain. The locals use the reserve to shorten their journey through the island, so many cyclists move there, which is a bit annoying, but honestly turist must respect that he is only guest here. Some parts of infrastructure of the reserve are somewhat worn: the wooden statue of a female Paradise Flycatcher needs to be repaired, and some bridges are closed because of damage.
Take the warning about good protection against mosquitoes very seriously: there is really a LOT of them here.

Black Paradise Flycatchers are not shy at all and with a little patience are quite easy to spot both males and females, as well as the common island species, such as Red-headed Fody or Seychelles Bulbul. If you fail to spot some of the rare species, don´t give up! After visiting the Veuve reserve we headed to the Nid d'aigle trail, which is a strenuous but beautiful hike, and along the way to the top of the island we spotted a Seychelles Blue Pigeon and a flock of Seychelles Sunbirds feeding on flowering bush.

And now few words for those who point out here that you can get into the reserve for free, and who even use this way. What´s wrong with you? You travel across the world, spend a lot of money on flights and hotels, and now you resist spending a few euros to support the home of the endangered animal species that can not be found anywhere else on this planet? Shame on you.
