"We loved the tour of Hyde Hall. It's a wonderful look into what wealthy life was like in the 18th and 19th centuries in NY state. The history is outstanding and the tour guide was fascinating. My husband and I referred other guests at the B&B we stayed at to go and they loved it, also! "
"Our Biloxi Bombers fund-raised for 3 years for the opportunity to play at the Field of Dreams in Cooperstown, N.Y. All would agree that the week at Cooperstown was truly a chance of a lifetime! The boys spend the nights in bunk houses shared with their own coaches, and during the days, those boy..."s played their hearts out. Everything about the Dreams Park is totally first class....not a blade of grass out of order, not a board that needed painting. This is truly the "Disneyland of Baseball"! The owners love the sport of baseball for 12 year olds and it truly shows.
The area around Cooperstown is something out of a James Fennimore Cooper novel and downtown Cooperstown is like a quaint Cape Cod Village with lots of baseball themed businesses and restaurants. The whole family LOVED the trip!

"Even for a "merely interested" baseball fan, the Hall of Fame was so well worth visiting. It is so well done and has many interesting exhibits. They had large pictures of the inductees.......so the next day my grandson's team was playing a KC team. Their coach came over to welcome us. I told him..." he looked like someone I think I know. He asked if I had gone to the Hall of Fame yet and I said, "Yes. last night". Then it hit me! His picture was in the Hall of Fame. It was Frank Wright from the KC Royals. What a class act he and his wife are. They certainly "give back" to the kids as he is the coach for the KC team who beat us!
