"Even in Springtime before most of the flowers are out, this is a great place to spend a couple of hours. Lots of interesting gardens and paths to walk outside and a self-guided tour inside. It's a very well-built house which is a view into how the wealthy lived in the early part of the century. If you like historical old houses, make sure you visit. At $6-7/person, it's a deal.

It is now a state historic park, improving each year and is nearly back in order. It is well worth seeing for flower and garden lovers, arti...
