The West wouldn’t be the West without horseback riding. Miles of trail lead out from the ranch into pristine Montana wilderness, where guides and experienced horses ensure a fabulous adventure for all skill levels. For a real taste of the Old West, you can enjoy a good old fashioned chuck wagon dinner down by the river or a horse drawn sleigh ride in the winter to our Mountain Man campsite.

"My girlfriend and I spent the week in Yellowstone country in mid October 2012. Aside from the natural wonders, we were looking for a little adventure through activities in the area. Turns out mid October is a beautiful time to visit and explore the area. The weather is just starting to turn and the ..."leaves on the trees are turning to a golden yellow. Beautiful. We booked a zipline tour for one of our days of exploring. We chose Montana whitewater because of the location and the fact that you can zip across the gallatin river not once, but twice. We had never been ziplining before and couldn't have asked for a better first time. The scenery was second to none, and the guides were awesome and down to earth. They were very informative in the local knowledge and professional in teaching and educating about the sport. We absolutely made the right choice and when we come back, which we will, we will certainly block out some time to zip with them again. Highly recommended for anyone who is loo...

"Took a trip to Yellowstone in July and chose Montana Whitewater for our river adventure. My girlfriend and I decided to do a harder section of the Gallatin while the rest of my crew did a 1/2 day adventure that was easier. We chose to raft in the smaller raft so it was just me, my girlfriend and our..." guide Bryce. Bryce was a great guide and did his part in making sure we got to surf some good holes and hit all of the good waves. The river was awesome.. the rapids were awesome.. and you can see it all here thanks to GOPRO camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7i1h5r9PUg

"We take our grandchildren, ages 10 and 11, to Big Sky, Montana to ski every year and this year we decided to do something a little different and take them on a horse drawn sleigh ride. We chose the 320 Guest Ranch Ride as since it was one hour long, it would not be too long for children that age. ..."It was also more economical than some of the others would have been for four people. My husband and I have been on some of the other sleigh rides in this area and they have been very nice, but we felt 320 would be a better format for a "family" outing and we were right on.
What a treat!! The staff was so friendly, helpful and enthusiastic and we all felt so welcome. It was truly an activity the whole family could enjoy. There were even some babes in arms on the outing. A horse drawn sleigh took us to a "campsite" with a campfire and a wonderful heated tent. In the tent the we had our choice of beverages, such as hot cocoa for the kids and some hot winter-type adult drinks, delicious e...
