Boonville Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Boonville
"We rode 2 sections of the trail. Day 1 Boonville to Rocheport and return for a 40 mile ride (we started at the Holiday Inn Express). The trail was soft in areas and the scenery was mostly farm land not yet planted. At Rocheport is the start of bluffs, the short tunnel and a conservation area to enjo..."y before entering the town. Open riding so on a breezy day or a summer day it could be a little tougher. Day 2 was Rocheport to Easley and return for 35 miles round trip. Bluffs on one side & the Missouri River on the other! Benches for resting, birds to look at, and a bit more packed surface for riding. Take the time to walk up to the Bisto and taste wine, eat lunch or just enjoy the view from their patio.

These have a shelter, benches, bathrooms, usually water and a large map showing where you've been and where you're headed. The trail passes through many very small towns and two picturesque cities, Boonville and St. Charles. There are many B&Bs, some historic hotels, a few motels, and several campgrounds from which to choose. I did half and half B&B + cam...
