Fort Campbell Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Fort Campbell
"A rare civil war event. Union troops outnumbered 5 to 1 prevailed against one of the Confederate's best commanders. At least one of the buildings on the tour was there during the battle and served as a hospital. More nice surprises on the tour. Do not recommend attempting this tour in the dark o..."r when the roads are snow or ice covered since a steep hill is involved.

"We had the priviledge to tour the home of the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Our guide was Frances from the neighboring town of Hopkinsville. She was very well versed in the history of the area and the Army base. We had lunch with the troops in the "mess hall"/sustenance building. These well-disciplined curteous personnel were a pleasure to talk to and eat with. The vastness of the base was incredible.
