  "We camped with friends that ride the trails on horseback. We joined them in riding, nice wooded trails, many to choose from. Bathroom close by. No alcohol allow in sites but is good since safety with horses is a concern. Nice area!"

There are a variety of trails for walking that are well marked and provide great views of the area. Most of the trails inter connect so you can do some longer day hikes. We walked along several and enjoyed the natural scenery of the park. We had a great picnic lunch along the lake and spent some time just sitting reading and relaxing looking over the lake water. Again, very peaceful. This park has a lot to offer, including canoeing and swimming. We would definitely return and spend more time to enjoy all the different activities and scenery every season has to offer at this well maintained state park. " More >
