"I read this is the second largest aviation museum in the country. Admission is free and open most of the time. There is a website to check and be sure. Took two grandsons both toddlers and they had a great time. Several cockpits to climb in and play with numerous buttons and switches to appeal t..."o little boys. Simulation areas as well. B1 bomber, Georgia On My Mind, is the first outdoor aircraft. Many outdoor aircraft around all the buildings. Worth riding around in the vehicle to see which ones you might want to visit by walking and there are some you will. Several buildings with different types of displays and all fascinating. This place is worth a visit whether young or young at heart or interest in aviation and combat aviation. On rainy days you can have a great indoor visit, also, if it is too hot to be outside. On sunny days, there is plenty to see outside as well. And it is free.

"Nice museum to visit there is no admission fee and plenty of things to take pictures of. The gift shop was nice but I could not find a polo shirt with the base logo on it for men. Picked one up for my wife there but none for men."
"We have been here many times over the years. Entrance to the museum is free. When my kids were little, they really enjoyed looking at the big planes. As they have gotten older, they have taken part in many classes offered here. The latest class they took was on aviation. They even got to fly th..."e flight simulator! So fun!
