  "If you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Lots of hiking to be done on property and nearby, 2 decent sized waterfalls on property, beautifully maintained golf course and gorgeous vistas all around. Best of all... no cell phone towers !! So, unplug, detach from the hustle and bustle, an..."d relax.... We visited in May, the weather was quite lovely, we enjoyed the large seasonal outdoor pool, in- and outdoor hot-tubs, sauna, tennis courts etc., etc. ... My favorite part was that at night you could actually see the stars, and the only noise you could hear were birds, frogs and crickets. Oh, and "taps" is played nightly from the church's bell tower. The units are a little older, but very sufficient, clean, and most have large balconies with lovely views. Staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful. Sporting equipment, board games, puzzles and books can be borrowed at no cost from the office/ library. Had a great time ! " More >

  "Rustic Mountain Resort..Friendly Staff."
  "After reading the reviews we were little concerned about the condition of the resort. Our concerns quickly faded away after we got to the resort. The resort was an older one but was very well kept up. It was not run down at all. You have to remember this place is in the mountains and is rustic in ..."nature. We were pleasantly surprised about how big our one bed room unit was. Four people could of been very comfortable staying in this unit. The furniture was very conferable and all in good shape and the bedding was new. When you walk in the unit the hallway has a handy clothes rack that we used and it helped to keep the unit tidy. The unit also has a washer and dryer that we used several times. It was very nice to have one in the unit. The kitchen was a full kitchen and you could easily prepare any meal there that you would at home.
