  "My friend and I met Kenny around 7:30 AM at Katie's Landing. We wanted to avoid the heat of the day and the afternoon thunderstorms. It was my first try with kayaking and my friend had limited experience. Kenny did a great job of giving us enough basic instruction so that we could take off without m..."uch delay. The water was like glass, smooth and pristine. Due to recent heavy rains, the vegetation was extremely dense in some areas. There was plenty to see: gators, turtles, birds, flowers, fish leaping out of the water. Kenny's knowledge of the river and wildlife is outstanding. He was great about answering our questions about kayaking, wildlife, and preservation of this part of Central Florida. The three hours went by very quickly. We will definitely be going back for another visit in early fall. Then we want to return when the manatees come into the river during the winter.
