The playground is really lovely, but it is in the sun, so it can get very hot mid-day and you'll need sunscreen. There is a day care center onsite, as well as summer camps, afterschool programs, and adult/child classes. Animal Embassy also has its own classes and camps, including a Keeper in Training program for 6th-9th graders. There are many wonderful events planned for families including family campouts, scavenger hunts, and stargazing. The only thing I don't like is that many of the farm animals are not to touch which can be very frustrating for animal-crazy kids. However, many of the animals at Animal Embassy are touchable.
