The park is quiet and has nice surroundings. We live close but still enjoyed "getting away". The Regional Park has two playgrounds, 3 fishing l..."akes and a swim lake. (The swim lake was not open during our stay). We enjoyed walking on the trails, watching fisherman and seeing some small animals. We were not ever approached by a park ranger at any point. The regional park does have some cons.. 1) Guests must pay $8 weekdays and $10 on weekends to visit your campsite. 2) Paying for a campsite does NOT include entrance or discount to the swim park $5 per person (had it been open) 3) Paying for a campsite also does NOT waive the $8 per person to fish.   "I am really reviewing this as an RV camping place, although, if I were traveling with children and young people, I would recommend it as an attraction also. The RV section is completely separate from the tent section. All of the sites are spacious; there is green grass and there are nice trees. S..."ites 1 - 13 are all paved pull through and all have full hookups. Between sites there are about 30 -60 feet of nice space. There is no cable TV, but antenna picks up many Los Angeles channels. Verizon signal is strong! The higher numbered sites are a wee bit closer together, but also very nice. For the very active, or for young people, you can find 3 fishing lakes, a swimming lake with water slide, a Frisbee golf course, paved roads for bicycle riding, etc. These are located in a separate section of the park, so noise is not a problem for us senior citizens.
