  "Rochioli is known as "ground zero" for Pinot Noirs and is a benchmark winery for oenophiles. Their wines have regularly been served at the White House, and they have a very cool book of WH dinner invitations to prove it. Rochioli also regularly appears at the top of the rating charts in Wine Spectat..."or As many have stated in their reviews, don't expect to taste the really good stuff on your visit, though you will definitely have some good wines. Their best wine is limited production and highly prized, so they only sell it to their top clients and loyal members. And don't expect to join up the day you arrive, either. The membership at Rochioli is more exclusive than a country club, and the waiting list is LONG. That said, the view from the tasting room and patio is one of the best in the Russian River Valley.
