"Sastre Burgos makes excellent wine. We wish it was possible to buy the wine in the USA. Hopefully sometime in the future it will happen. This is a family run operation. This small bodega is the only place where one can buy a bottle of any of the 15 or so wine you will taste here for 50 Pesos. Leo, o..."ne of the the young owners gives an excellent tour of the cave downstairs explaining his family's heritage and the history of wine making in the family. The family crest is a part of their label. The labels do not have any year because Sr. Sastre Burgos (Leo's father) tries to minimize costs everywhere EXCEPT in the production. My husband, and I had a great time spending about an hour in the evening and we ended up getting two bottles. Of course a Malbec and a Blanc and Blanc. By the way, you can also rent a room with your private bathroom at the back of the bodega at airbnb (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/905633). Mendoza is a beautiful town and this place is in the middle of everything, clo...

"I was very impressed with the professional and personal service I received from Uncorking Argentina. I signed up for the bike and wine tour, which Molly helped organize, and I appreciated the follow-up emails from Lujan. Both staff members provided additional recommendations of things to do and pl..."aces to eat during my stay in Mendoza. Luis, my bike guide, was great. I enjoyed the day visiting 3 different wineries and eating a delicious lunch at the 3rd winery. I would highly recommend Uncorking Argentina!
