  "My wife and I just returned from back to back weeks on the Truk Odyssey. It's a long flight but well worth it for the WW2 wreck diving in Truk Lagoon. 85 degree water, 88 degree weather. Get a day room at the Blue Lagoon Resort as you have to get off the boat at 8:00am Sunday and the only flight off..." island is at 3:00am. Blue Lagoon is not so great but it works for a day stay. The Truk Odyssey is a very comfortable boat and the food is pretty good. I did get hit with some nasty food poisoning the first week. Four out of thirteen guests were sticken. It was nasty! The cause remained a mystery. The diving is advanced with all deep dives, deco, and wreck penetration. The dives guides are top notch especially Sam Francis. We would recommend this trip, it's like nothing else. Skip the Thorfin the other Truk "liveaboard". The Thorfin does not move so it's really a floating hotel. The Truk Odyssey goes to two to three different wreck dive sites every day. " More >
