  "This island is absolute paradise. We stayed one night and took our snorkelling gear - we spent the afternoon checking out all the fish that we in water that was about knee deep! The huts were basic but that is to be expected when you're away from the mainland - we had everything we needed. The i..."sland is wonderfully small, so we sat and watched the sun go down and pottered on the warm sands in the evening. After dinner, the ranger came to get us, to lead us down to the beach. A turtle was laying her eggs and the rangers were collecting them to burry them in the hatchery. It was a unique and humbling experience - in the darkness, with the sea rolling up the shore and this wondrous animal laying her eggs. The rangers work hard to balance tourism and nature - ensuring that the tourists understand WHY the park is protected and importance of protecting the turtles.
