"Amazing Place where we can found Natural Market who local people still keep their tradition from their ancient. Many People Happy. Making Transaction on "Jukung" and "Klotok"...traditional Boat dan crowded activity " bargain and offering to barter daily needs" . Local fruits like Rambutan , Orange,..." Banana etc to offer you very chief. You can negotiation with the local Trader. If you like "Traditional cake" you can found 41 varity of delicious traditional cake. Don't forget...visit the land...and find the thousands Smile from the Kids who riding bycicle or they walk together going to school across suspension bridge near "Floating market" and feel that The Sun rising open you day....and Sing a Song.....Its Beautifull Day.....to the world...

"Amazing place. Wonderful people I think the whole time there I was trying to work out how I could move there.
What an adventure. You MUST have a small amount of Indonesian to travel there. IOtherwise there are English speaking guides in Banjarmasin who all want to take you there. Frankly the englis..."h speaking guides drove us nuts! So we opted to find a guide when we got there.
We did the waterfall by ourself, straight forward path, however apparently there are 2 other parts you can get to but you really need with a guide.
We used a guide named Sapuan (ph: 0852 487 760 91), he took us on a 3 day walk stopping at villages overnight, he was great, only spoke a few english words but let us walk at our own pace and was happy to stop all the time for us to take photos.
Warning if you stay in the villages on a trek take a sleeping bag. We turned up the first night soaking wet and slept on a hard floor with only a sarong each to keep warm. The first time in Borneo I was cold.

"Located at Martapura River, Lok Baintan is the small village where you can see amazing traditional market..
The market is really different and very unique.. The market located in the river a.k.a floating in the river. Every seller & buyer always using the small boat or canoe to the market.
Thi..."s market opened around 6 to 8.30 AM every morning..as tourist or visitor, we can buy anything there like fruit, cake, nasi kuning (local food), soto Banjar (local food) etc..
to getting there, we must to rent a boat with machine from city center.. river cruise need around 1 hour from starting point..a lot of rent a boat near Banjarmasin city center....
