"One massive room - in fact the whole top floor of the souvenir shop on Bolshaya Pokrovka. Costs almost nothing to get in, and seems like the management don't care, because with the huge number of artifacts they could totally turn this into a great cultural centre. Many and varied objects, photos and..." descriptions in Russian only. Allow an hour.

"The Gaz museum captures a beautiful piece of history of Russia. With pictures and stories on the upper level and the actual cars on the lower level, it really gives you a glimp of the history of cars in Russia.
Be aware: All given information is in Russian."
"The kacca does not have any english signage so it was hard to determine what we wanted to see and pay for. The best we could communicate was to just say all the museum. So, we ended up paying 380/person for all the exhibits.
The icons were well presented and there was some english info on the plac..."ards.
There was no english anywhere else.
The exhibits were all good covering various Russian art periods and artists. It is not an extensive museum, but a bit of an exposure. If you have been to other art museums throughout Russia like we have, there is not much different from what was viewed elsewhere.
The two special exhibitions were enjoyable as they were collections from a specific artist and not a mixture of works.
Overall, it was a nice museum, but probably not worth the full 380r.
