San Fernando La Union Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in San Fernando La Union
"Our host friend was soo kind enough to bring us here. HOnestly didn't know how we got there, since we were also provided with the vehicle with driver. The Temple was sooo solemn and the ambiance was so airy since the side doors were opened with a great view, too. Taught my filipino friends how to..." light the incense sticks and pray and make their wishes. Loved the scent of those sticks, quite mesmerizing. My friends also had some polaroids taken, to which the caretaker obliged. Saw, too some filipino guests visiting and noticed a place under a big tree with a sign that says "Not for dating" hahaha. Since it was such a serene and peaceful place, my guess is, some lovers meet there. But, overall it's such a great place for contemplating and just talking to the one above, being a Chinese or otherwise :D

"Just 6 km out of San Fernando/L.U. is this garden located. We saw public jeepneys there but we went their by car. The way to the garden is clearly signed. Parking is available right at the entrance.
They park was designed with lots of love and it is indeed a place to stay for a longer time. Even a..." picknick area is available. The character of this garden is more a jungle habitat then a botanical garden at any university. Partly the lack of maintainance is visible but on other spots we saw that they try to keep it maintained.
The so called zoo is rather a desaster. The animals are kept in much to small cages- even they got plenty of free space in this garden and some animals look not very healthy at all.
The very good thing in the garden is, that you can stroll around on real jungle tracks- passing tall bamboo trees on both sides and climb up to a scenic view point. We saw lots of interesting flowers and plants, and even interesting fruit trees.
Near the park entrance is a shop f...

"Bauang is not a part of San Fernando, it is a town nearby San Fernando. The sand is not white, but it boasts fine grayish sand. The beach is ideal for swimming and kayaking on summer seasons. The beach is not as crowded but not on holyweek season. Resorts are situated along the 5 kilometer coast"
