"We stopped in Kusadasi and had a tour of Ephesus that we booked with this private tour company. We made the stop with a cruise ship and we were so glad that we did not book through the cruise. Not only was this more economical, but it was a more personal intimate experience. The guide Isik, was e..."xcellent. She was was waiting for us on time and took us to our driver. She was knowledgeable and an excellent communicator in English. She also took our lead on how much information we wanted and could absorb. We thoroughly enjoyed Ephesus and would recommend this tour company. We would definitely book with them again if we were visiting again. Thank you Isik from Rosanna and the gang.

"We've lived in Turkey for several years and have visited Ephesus many times, both independently and with guides. Our first visitors of the season decided they wanted to visit Ephesus. We wanted to make it a memorable occasion and so thought we'd go with a guide. John's declining mobility means th..."at he probably won't have another chance and he's also hard of hearing. so a large group tour as organised by the local travel shops would have been unsuitable. We booked the Roman Ephesus and its Christian heritage tour.
Ilker, our guide and his driver collected us from our house exactly on time in an immaculate car. Ilker ensured we had adequate shoes and sufficient water and we were whisked off to Ephesus. The team took care to help John in and out o...

"We booked this in conjunction with a port stop in Kusadasi. Everything was arranged via email in advance with no need for prepayment. Our tour guide, Ali, met us at the port exactly as planned and took the three of us through the tour in a comfortable van. As the tours also include a driver, Ali was..." able to concentrate on giving us all the details without being concerned with traffic.
Ali was an absolute fountain of information about the histories, legends, and geography of the Ephesus area. He first took us to the House of the Virgin Mary so we would beat most of the tour groups -- which worked well because as we left there was easily a line triple the size when we arrived. We then went through the ruins of Ephesus with fabulous history lessons and details throughout the tour, including the Terrace Houses. We also went to St. John's church and the Temple of Artemis.
Ali noticed I take many photographs and he pointed out the "don't miss" shots throughout the tour. He also took care...
