  "it is about one hour from mathura/vrindavan. it is customary to do the parikrama on bare foot, better start at night so as to complete it much before dawn. After some rest & getting fresh you can offer milk/honey to govardhan maharaj/ radha rani in the morning . we completed it in 5 hours ( mine was..." first attempt ) but as a first timer you can hope to complete it 6-7 hours at a leisured pace. Total parikrama is of 21 Km divided in 2 parts. First part of 12 Km is of govardhan or giriraj ji maharaj & second part is of 9 Km of Radha Rani.   "it was a great experience to have another darshan of radha rani in one of the oldest temple in vrindavan & to have a bathed in water fountain was another experience all together."

  "this was my second visit & still was a new experience for me . A must for all shani followers. After darshan you can have darshan of radha rani/ shiva & other dieties in the same complex. after darshan you can also have a dip at the sarovar."
