Zhuhai Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Zhuhai
"My boyfriend and I stayed at a hotel about an hour away, and had planned to visit another hotsprings resort. When we were told about Ocean Spring, we leaped at the mention of an amusement park beside it, lots of pools to choose from, and a large surrounding to walk around in. The resort itself was n..."ot as busy as it usually is as we went on the grave-sweeping holiday, so we were pretty fortunate to be able to do everything we wanted to there. Facilities were great - there's a fitness complex, lots of entertainment possibilities, and several decent restaurants to choose from. We decided to visit the amusement park and the hotsprings.
The amusement park had some very good rides, although the attitude of the staff left something to be desired. The first ride we went on was a water slide one which was great. "This area has been developed very quickly. Bicycle hire has become popular as well as electric golf carts and slightly more traditional tuk-tuks (also electric). If you take the #85 bus from Tangjia you have quite a walk so it is worth taking a bike or cart if it is hot. From the board walk you can ..."see red mud crabs at low tide. Food and drinks are very limited on site, but there are numerous rustic "farmers'restaurants" nearby.

"You can get to Qi’ao Dao/Island (淇澳岛) with bus 85, but it is quite a long way. I do prefer to go by car.
Here is a list of things to visit/do, (I have not yet visited all of them):
Baishi Street (白石街)
White Stone Street was build in memory of the victory of the villagers (used canon) over British..." opium seller. With silver dollars received from the British, Tian Hou Palace （天后宫）and White Stone Street was built. The Tian Hou Palace contains solders remains.
Well worth it to visit.
Qi’ao Mangrove Wetlands （淇澳红树林湿地生态园）
A board walk leads through the mangrove wet land. Red crabs can be seen during the warmer times along the board walk. A small temple is located within the premises. It seems that they are starting to clean up the wetlands. Even though if you leave the wooden board walk and take the route that is also part of the Guang Dong Green Way you will find "garbage rivers", which is very sad.
