The temple compound features several ornate and colorful buildings alongside statues of deities, including two towering statues of the Smiling Buddha and 18-armed Guanyin, goddess of mercy and compassion (as well as the goddess of fertility). One..." of the temples was under repair while we were (too bad) but there was so much more to see. The compound is set on a man-made lake and is an active place of worship, so act and dress accordingly. If you decide to inspect the temples more closely, be prepared to remove your shoes. On that note, best to visit early or late in the day so the tiles aren't scalding hot. If you have 45 minutes to an hour to spare to wander, sit or be still, then make the effort to visit. " More >
• Silver Beach
  "Beautiful beach"
  "Spent a couple of hours here one morning. Quiet, unspoiled with lovely clear water & a great setting. Not much shade ( one large tree) & no sunbeds( which is fab as it is totally uncommercialised). There is a small local hotel beside the beach for drinks, food & toilets. Well worth a visit."
