Victoria Falls Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Victoria Falls
"This was a fantastic visit would do it again and again. The view of the falls is spectacular. We were there In high season. The sheer power of the falls is breathtaking. Our guide was Zulu one if the most informed and informative tour guides I have ever had. He grew up in the park site with his fath..."er and then carried on working there. We got on to him through the Victoria falls hotel. If you go there do ask for him. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. Even if it wasn't specifically about the park. And on the while Zimbabwe has some of the most genuine people I have ever met. The helicopter ride over the falls is a must do as well. Wish I had more time so I definitely plan to go again :)

"We thought we were going to meet, and cuddle, little lion cubs!!! I was wrong! they were 18 months old and looked like "proper" lions to us!!!! OMG! there were only 7 people and 5 wardens which made it very atmospheric! we had an excellent elf and safety orientation first then walked with a lion and..." lioness, brother and sister, for over an hour! we each took turns to walk right behind one of the lions and even stroke their backs! the wardens took wonderful pictures of us when it was our turn to walk right behind the lion... it was an experience we wil never forget! we bought the dvd to watch and thrill our friends at home and i bought a T shirt... everything you buy pays for this fantastic project - introducing young lions back into the wild and hopefully saving them from extinction.

"What a fantastic experience to see The Falls. They should be on everyone's Bucket List. In the car park before the gates, raincoats are offered, and should definitely be taken. They are calf length as a jacket would not be enough to stay dry. Check when a coat is handed to you that it doesn't have r..."ips in it. Once through the gates, large posters show the layout of the area and give some history. Our guide walked us to the statue of Livingston before proceeding along the opposite bank to The Falls. The various parts of The Falls were explained to us and named. The spray from them becomes more dense as you walk along the bank, until it is as strong as a tropical downpour. And the sound - like continuous thunder. There are numerous spots to peer across at The Falls and take photos. They are truly magnificent, and impossible to justice to them with a camera.
