Casablanca Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Casablanca
"The mosque is enormous. It is a true manifestation of the beautiful Moroccan handicraftsman-ship. It comprises a school to teach the Koran, an academy, a museum and a huge moroccan hammam that is not used."
"I booked myself in for an argan oil massage. The massage itself was average. Definitely do not expect a luxurious spa experience. In every sense this a Moroccan hammam, where locals gather to exchange gossip and socialize. The massage room resembled a doctor's consultation room, and the background m..."usic was traditional Moroccan music, and not necessarily the most soothing kind. The room accommodated 2 clients; any semblance of privacy was banished about halfway through as another client noisily came in, and the 2 masseuses started chatting together.
Knowing that it caters to locals, I think it still deserves a good rating.
TIP: Bring your own gear: towels, shower shoes, toiletries, etc. You can rent a towel for 20dh if necessary. Inside the hammam, everyone walks around in their underwear, so bring an extra pair to change into afterwards.
