This championship course offers stunning views of mountains and lush greens, with the ocean in the distance. A dramatic contrast to The Challenge at Manele, The Experience at Koele boasts a cooler climate, wooded slopes, manicured bunkers and terraced water hazards.

"My wife and I took a morning horseback with Cody, a real life cowboy, as our guide and it was awesome! We were the only ones that signed up for this time, so it was just us and our guide. The scenery was beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable and informative, not to mention funny. We woul..."d definitely do this again and recommend it to everyone, whether you are experienced or not.

"You might wonder why someone thought of putting a golf course high in the mountains with hardly any ocean views--until you play here! It couldn't be any more different from the seaside Challenge at Manele Bay course a few miles away, but good golfers will love both! Huge elevation changes put you in..." a different climate zone, with forest, deer, wild turkeys, and more....including one elevated tee with a purely amazing view (17th hole). Coffee and free pastries for early tee times. If you are staying at either 4 Seasons hotels, paying for play provides unlimited golf in the same day. This course has never been crowded when we have been there. It really is an "Experience!" The golf shop is a 2-minute walk from The Lodge at Koele (check for hotel specials!) or a shuttle will take you there.

"Access to this beach is not for the faint of heart. Getting here takes effort and determination, but the reward is well worth it. This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Long, wide, and nearly uninhabited. Spectacular views of the ocean. Absolutely fantastic. It lies at the..." end of a long, rough.....make that VERY ROUGH... trail, which can only be accessed by 4 wheel drive jeeps. Probably not the best place for swimming, as the surf is pretty rough. But wow...is it ever a beautiful place. This is one of those rare places in the world where you can stand and feel like you are the only person on the planet.
