The place is incredible worth double the entrance fee.
1 piece of advice - avoid the restrooms unless you’re desperate, basic is kind!Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. She was wonderful, very knowledgeable and helpful, making sure she answered all our questions and got some great photos. Although the sun didn’t shine into the canyon for us, it was spectacular and we didn’t find the steps and narrow sections too challenging.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BobiTychynskiShimodaOakville, Canada346 contributionsWe enjoyed this botanical garden. I especially liked the Sonoran desert lop and the giant cactus planted in 1939. We spent a couple of hours here. It was already quite busy when we arrived at 10:30 a.m.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Donna FGatlinburg, TN46 contributionsWhat an incredible place for serenity and prayer. Sits in a most beautiful setting. Mass Services are held at 3pm each day. There is a fantastic gift shop, so save space in your luggage to take things home. Very reasonably priced items that you will want to buy!!! Suggest you go as soon as they open - noon - because it gets VERY crowded. You can drive there - parking is plentiful, but it is a hike up to the church. Or you can take one of the trolley trips.Written March 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SFNM MTBSanta Fe, NM9 contributionsThis is a must see if you’re in Tucson and enjoy wildlife and plants/gardening. The cactus and other planting are incredible. You can view a mountain lion and Ocelot along with other cool attractions. - IndianaTravelmomSouth Bend, IN314 contributionsThis is such a find and so well done. If you love music or learning about cultures of the world this is a must see. Recommend starting upstairs where galleries of instruments from many many countries are shown and include snippets of video showing them in use(head sets provided) . Then you can move downstairs for a gallery featuring memorabilia of numerous music names from Elvis Presley to Prince. There is also a nice cafeteria with outdoor seating and a gift shop. We spent about 6 hours here including lunch and felt it was well worth our timeWritten March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tita ElvieCanada102 contributionsAmazing hike and views. Highly recommend this trail and hike. We did a loop around and went up Cathedral Rock in the middle of it. The loop was runnable and beautiful.

Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about the canyon, she helped everyone with taking great photos. She also took some breathtaking photos of each group or couple. Overall, we feel that this tour was our favorite. I recommend anyone in Page AZ take the tour. Nadine is a great asset to Dixie Antelope Tour Company.Written March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BobiTychynskiShimodaOakville, Canada346 contributionsThis was an extremely rewarding hike! It is for the able bodied -for sure - as there are some points that requires climbing up some actual rocks as opposed to walking on a rocky trail. The parking is a bit scarce so we ended up parking on a nearby road but those spots are scarce too. I understand there is a shuttle from town. We arrived by 9a.m. On a cool day on March and the parking lot was already full.
We recommend some hiking boots and a warm hoody at this time or year. It was cold and windy up there! The dust can also tend to get in your eyes so sunglasses helped there. There is a good amount of shade.
It took about an hour to hike from the parking area to the bridge. When you get to the top, it is orderly and people wait in line to take a picture on the bridge. People all seemed willing to photograph each other - a sort of unwritten rule. Give we went so early, the wait to do our photo op was about 20 minutes but I understand it can be up to 2 hours.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Some of the hangers have World War II airplanes, which I thought was fascinating! They have several Air Force jets, and old Air Force One, some Japanese planes from World War II, a building with more current space items including drones. There is an optional trolley ride you can take that’s 45 minutes long and cost $8. You also get explanations of the different planes and how they were used. There is also an audio guide that you can use. You could easily spend hours there.

There is an entrance fee, but a National Parks Pass gets you in for free. At the base there is a giftshop, info area and restrooms. There are lots of varied hiking trails and a tram that can just provide a leisurely tour of the area or take you closer to some of the trails. The stream through the canyon can be bone dry or a raging torrent blocking the roads after a strong rain. At busy times the parking lot can be full but there is an overflow lot just up the road.Written March 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
