"I really enjoyed this zoo and it's only a short drive from Bicheno. The keepers really know what they are talking about and clearly love the animals. Patting both devils and wombats was a highlight and the walk through bird and wallaby enclosures were great. I imagine little kids would love it. Defi..."nitely worth being there for the devil feeding. All in a great, natural environment.

"The guides were really knowledgeable, kind, and engaging.
We walked to the office, but if you are staying at accommodation farther away they will pick you up.
Really liked that we got to see the penguins in their natural habitat, and we were disturbing them minimally. The guides really knew what ..."they were talking about, and you can really tell they care about the animals.
Would recommend to anyone who wants to respect the animals in the wild. Children would also really enjoy this activity as well.

"We had a fantastic time.
There were not a lot of penguins but enough.
Some came right past out legs.
My wife and I were travelling with my elderly parents with my Mum being partially blind so we were unsure whether this night activity would be suitable.
IT WAS GREAT!
The staff made sure she was..." looked after and they carefully ensured she could find the penguins with her poor sight.
The staff and the penguins were brilliant. WELL DONE BICHENO...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
