"If you can find the bloody sign for the entrance...
Been past numerous times over the last two years but finally dropped in at the wrong end of the day.
So we'll have to go back.
At a glance there's quite a bit to see and paths to explore, and like with all gardens of any note there's continual m..."aintenance going on, but nonetheless what was seen was very presentable.
And as you would expect it needs to be visited at different times to see what shrubberies and beasty critters abound.
So do as we will, drop in at another time or check who's flowering when, make a trip back out from the city centre and remember it's just a sniff off the Bruce Highway.

"The staff at the gardens are very helpful. A superb job has been done and careful thought put into the planting of different sections.
Birdlife here can be amazing at times, especially in the dry season when the birds come in from the drier western areas above the range and converge on the lagoon a..."t the gardens.
The cafeteria is nice to :)

"A great family water park in the city centre and completely free which is just fantastic. Has 3 swimming lagoons, slides and a safe splash area for the littlies, all stinger free! Just fab."
