So it was a very pleasant experience to visit some ruins and the only tourist you seen were the Iguana's. The El Meco ruins are completely different and much smaller, so we found that we spent as much time there as we had at Chichen Itza taking photos and just enjoying the quiet. The pyramid there is much smaller but the renovations have allowed a much more natural setting. There are trees and roots growing over a lot of the ruins, which I think adds to their interest.
