Only a few minutes away from the city that joined its destiny to the king of the dehesa, at RESERVATURO RONDA, in the edge of a Biosphere Reserve, we can enjoy observing within a short distance all the stages of the fighting bull breeding and selection: the breeding stock cows escorted by the powerful stallion -the chosen one, the herald of the essence of the breed-; the calves born that year, running about together overlooked by their mothers, dreaming of a long life in the country; the young bulls insolents, boastful of their thoroughbred; and finally, the bull, the result of centuries of men's passion for creating the most beautiful creature, midway between its nobility and its fighting spirit. « less

With many restaurants, shopping, attractions and nightlife. It has won the award "Best Marina in the World' several times. The Marina of Benalmadena officially opened in 1979, with the name "Port au Prince" but in1982 was named Puerto Marina Benalmadena. The thing that really stands out about the marina is its unique architecture/design, which has lead to its international recognition especially with our European tourists. Puerto Marina has a huge capacity to moor boats and yachts, with just over 1,000 moorings for boats from many different nationalities.  'Puerto Marina' is one of the Costa del Sol's busiest centres. There are loads of different shops including the shopping centre. On top of it all there is a large choice of quality restaurants. You are spoiled for choice. Fancy a drink or a dance? Or how about hitting a nightclub or pub? With well over 20 establishments, you will have difficultly to decide. Puerto Marina Benalmadena entails a big chunk of the town of Benalmadena and is a true touristic destination. There is also the  Harbour Master, hotels, and the beautiful promenade that leads to Puerto Marina Benalmadena Yacht Club. Plus, residential areas of luxury and an aquarium among other activities making it a destination for leisure tourism for the Med and it's beaches! « less
